This 360 room hotel in Sydney’s CBD was particularly hot water intensive due to amenities such as a Spa, Pool and Fitness Centre. A Tivok water heating system was installed to manage it’s 30kL daily hot water demand, replacing a previous gas system. The system was designed after consultations with the hotel and a site visit, taking into account the hotel’s needs based on data such as occupancy rates and current electricity and gas consumption, and taking advantage of the unobstructed north facing roof area with high solar irradiation.
This 107 room hotel was being serviced by ageing gas boilers that had reached the end of their life. Tivok Energy installed a hybrid solar thermal system that services 100% of the site’s annual hot water load. The installation reduced the hot water energy consumption per room from 23MJ to 3.4MJ per day, and the system produces an average of 22% of it’s energy via solar collectors.
Tivok Energy installed 2 x T-HP72-2-T420A hot water systems to replace the ageing and non functioning gas and electric hybrid hot water system at this Community Centre. The system was installed in 3 days and supplies hot water to a meals on wheels kitchen and the whole office building.
This factory requires hot water to heat up batches of cosmetics solutions. Previously its water was being heated to 70°C by an electric boiler before being circulated through a water jacket during the batch process. A Tivok hybrid system was designed as an addition to this system to pre-heat water for the batch process to 60°C, resulting in more efficient hot water delivery overall.
Tivok Energy provided 2 x T-PHP200AB pool heat pumps to replace an ageing gas pool heating system at a Retirement Village in Bondi. The savings generated from the Tivok Pool Heat Pumps allowed full system payback within 2 years.
